MUSINGS

Musings is a collection of thoughts on weddings, people, family, memory and the strange way time seems to move faster the older we get. After more than twenty years of photographing weddings, I’ve had a front row seat to thousands of small moments between people. Parents watching their children, old friends falling back into step, grandparents holding hands, nervous glances before ceremonies, huge laughs, quiet tears and all the little things that are usually gone before anyone realises they happened.

These are some of the thoughts that have stayed with me along the way. Not really advice, and not always about photography. Just observations about people, relationships, growing older, being present and the things that often end up meaning more than we expected.

There’s a good chance that everyone you love will never be in the same room together again.
