Nina & Shae’s Merribee Wedding
Nina and Shae’s Merribee wedding was everything you’d hope for in a celebration of love, uplifting, free-spirited, and full of genuine emotion. The kind of day that reminds you how powerful it is to be surrounded by people who truly care for one another.
Nina and Shae, looking ever so happy with the “just married” feels.
Merribee, located just a few minutes from Berry on the NSW South Coast, is one of those rare venues that blends rustic charm with timeless elegance. Set across beautiful gardens and historic buildings, it’s the perfect place for a relaxed, DIY-style wedding. Every corner offers something different, fragrant lavender fields, country pathways, and warm open spaces that feel made for connection.
Nina and Shae’s ceremony took place in one of Merribee’s garden pockets, styled beautifully by Paloma Events Co. Guests gathered in a circular formation, which was such a refreshing twist on the usual setup. It created an intimate, almost sacred atmosphere, allowing everyone to feel part of the moment. From where I stood, I could see tears, smiles, and laughter all at once. The kind of genuine emotion that makes a wedding unforgettable.
As the sun began to dip, the celebration continued outdoors beneath Merribee’s trees. Long tables stretched beneath strings of lights, and the soft flicker of candlelight set the perfect tone for dinner. The weather was incredible. Calm, warm, and full of that golden coastal light that photographers dream of. It was the ideal setting for a heartfelt, laughter-filled night under the stars!
The entire day flowed effortlessly thanks to an amazing team of vendors who brought Nina and Shae’s vision to life:
