South Coast wedding photography is great. I get to see Mother Nature at its finest; bush land, rivers and beaches. Sometimes I like to think I’m are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area.
Ok now to the wedding…
Laura and Josh decided to have an intimate DIY day wedding with their closest family and friends. What better way to do it then at Laura’s grand mothers property. They also got ready in the same house trying not to see each other before the ceremony. It was quite an enjoyable experience!
Tom from Tom Dowden Music made all the emotions sync together with his fine voice for the ceremony and luncheon. You should check out his work, he is super talented.
Laura’s grand mothers house is located close to the cliff tops of the Shoalhaven river. Since hearing about it, I had to go and explore the area before the wedding as it could be a great spot for portraits after the wedding was finished. The spot was amazing! It was a place where I would definitely take the couple on for their portraits (scroll down to see).
I asked Laura and Josh what was their most favourite part of the wedding. This is what Laura wrote:
“I find it hard to single out! the whole afternoon was seriously awesome and fun! It’s cliché but I guess just seeing all our family and closest friends in one place and sharing our love with them was the best part. Oh, and our vows to each other!
The process of preparing for the wedding was also fun (though a little stressful) because myself and a few close girls did all the table flower arrangements, dressed the cake, stuck on our handmade honey labels and matchbox stickers together the day before. A friend decorated the arbour that josh made from scratch and when she finished we all stood together and cried because it was so beautiful!”
