I had always wanted to go to New Zealand to see the beautiful surrounding mountains and vast lakes and rivers. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, two lovely people invited me to photograph their wedding in Queenstown. Queenstown is arguably one of the most stunning places in the world for scenery and adventure and on this day my dream came true. Daniel Cartwright is a queenstown wedding photographer.
The flight into Queenstown was quite bumpy, the skies were dark and gloomy, the hills blanketed by the low cloud. Think Lord of the rings, and you’ll get the idea of what I am describing. I was hoping the weather wouldn’t be like this for the wedding; luckily it was clear.
