What can I say? Jade and Per’s Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat wedding was a wild one! As always I asked Jade a little but more about the processes of planning and other wedding related stuff.
What Jade had to say about her Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat Wedding!:
“We booked the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat for our wedding as Per and I both love being outdoors and found it such a unique venue. The ability to have our entire wedding party comfortably stay on the property for the two nights was also a big plus.
We picked midweek as it was one of the two remaining dates available in October at the venue; and we really wanted an October wedding! We didn’t mind having the wedding midweek as it meant the venue was cheaper also.
My biggest tip for brides is to do what you and your future husband want to do! I found that when we got engaged I started flicking through bridal magazines and Pinterest, and I got caught up in the ‘traditional wedding’ trends (white roses, veils, etc) – Which isn’t us at all! When we finally realised that our wedding is about us and how we want to celebrate, our vision came to life! Stay true to your roots!”
Here’s a neat little testimonial I received from them:
“Dan made my husband and I feel so at ease throughout the whole day and had us laughing non-stop! It felt completely natural and at times we almost forgot he was there. He perfectly captured the mood of the day and it shines through in photos we will cherish forever. Thank you Dan!”
This wedding was an absolute blast! The bridal party were super wild! The cake face smash was even wilder! Oh boy, I had so much fun capturing Jade and Per’s Kangaroo Valley Bushreat wedding!
