Oh my! Where to begin on this amazing Deckhouse Wedding in Woolwich. I think I have an idea. Let us start with the wedding photo below. Picture beauty in chaos. A rainy day with a super carefree bride and groom walking amongst it. Enter, Lucy and Adam who I think represent what I wrote above perfectly. The shot focusing on the chaos of the moment, with subtle beauty behind.

Deckhouse Woolwich Wedding!

I had an absolute blast at this Deckhouse wedding. To be honest, it felt like I was photographing a friends wedding. I think the more comfortable you guys are in front of me and my camera, the more you let me in. Plus you also get to hear my terrible jokes 🙂

Ok, now for a bit about the day… Lucy got ready at an AirBnb close to the Church in Woolwich. The good thing about AirBnb’s for weddings, is you can choose the look you’d like for getting ready, as well as choosing a place with nice natural light for you preparation wedding photos. Logistically it’s a great idea too as you save time from travelling long distances between spots. Sorta stress free if you ask me.

The wedding service was held an old Catholic Church, St Peter Chanel, Woolwich. It was a beautiful celebration with a lot of tears. The positive energy was brilliant!

We later ventured around the streets for some portraits, dodging the heavy bits rain. I think we were quite lucky around Deckhouse for their wedding pictures. The sun peeped out for a moment and put on quite a show for their wedding pictures.

Have a look through to see more. I’ve included some little text snippets to give you a bit more info about the images.

Here’s a list of the wedding vendors:
