What can I say? Jade and Per’s Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat wedding was a wild one! As always I asked Jade a little but more about the processes of planning and other wedding related stuff.
Why did you choose the Bush Retreat for your wedding?
We booked the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat for our wedding as Per and I both love being outdoors and found it such a unique venue. The ability to have our entire wedding party comfortably stay on the property for the two nights was also a big plus.
Why did you choose a midweek date for your wedding?
We picked midweek as it was one of the two remaining dates available in October at the venue; and we really wanted an October wedding! We didn’t mind having the wedding midweek as it meant the venue was cheaper also.
Any tips for brides and grooms readying this post?
My biggest tip for brides is to do what you and your future husband want to do! I found that when we got engaged I started flicking through bridal magazines and Pinterest, and I got caught up in the ‘traditional wedding’ trends (white roses, veils, etc) – Which isn’t us at all! When we finally realised that our wedding is about us and how we want to celebrate, our vision came to life! Stay true to your roots!”
